Poseidon LTS

Poseidon LTS is a tourist submersible designed to provide a spacious and comfortable platform for exploring underwater shipwrecks, reefs, and marine life. The vehicle is intended to carry up to six passengers and two crew members to depths of 300 feet and operate in freshwater, brackish, and saltwater environments after deployment from a larger support vessel. The team evaluated comparable commercial submersibles and developed a design addressing pressure-hull sizing, ballast and buoyancy control, propulsion and battery requirements, passenger ergonomics, materials selection, and resistance to corrosion and biofouling, while considering applicable ABS, ASME, and IMO standards.
