H2 Concentration/Temperature Sensor
Problem statement
Plug Power makes electrolyzers. The electrolyzers produce H2 (and O2) from water and electricity. The electrolyzers are built by stacking thin sheets of material and then clamping them, forming a brick that has inputs of water and electricity and outputs of H2, O2, heat, and residual water. Plug Power would like a sensor that can measure properties such as the temperature and the concentration of H2 inside the brick. You will attempt to install an optical fiber into a representative structure and demonstrate the ability to make such measurements.
