Design, implement and test a prototype
Problem statement
Design, implement and test a prototype belt-driven four-wheel-drive SAE Baja vehicle that can be used for further testing and improvement by the Madison SAE Baja team prior to the first mandatory four wheel drive SAE Baja competition in spring 2021. The vehicle will use a retrofitted frame from a previous year and power will be driven to the front wheels from the rear gearbox through a belt driven differential. The changes will be made with minimum effects to the steering, suspension, drive-train and overall performance of the vehicle.
